It's an oversized swamp cooler look alike---

It's just OK, and won't chill down the interior much--
Unless, your using it at night, at no more than 60 degree's outside.

If you live in a humid area--it won't work well at all.

I agree with TK, I used to be a Banquet Director at a big resort and we had similar set up for outdoor tents, we dropped ice and the fan gave out the cool air, to me it was not worth it, and ours were huge! great idea in theory!

I have a Kooleraire. It doesn't work well in the Westy at all. My father-in-law has used it in the cab of his old Ford Ranger pickup, no AC, for something like that it actually works pretty well.

Just for the record, the pictured device is not really like a swamp cooler. The KoolerAire blows air over ice to cool it off. A swamp cooler is actually just like a humidifier. As moist air evaporates it cools off. For that reason, a swamp cooer is really only useful in a dry environment. It won't help much in the humid south.

yeah, in theory it's great... I would love it if it was the answer to all my air-cooling problems...
