| I am having issues with my gas gauge and temp gauge not working. I noticed a burned resistor in the resistor bank in the gauge foil which looks like it had been bypassed with a soldered wire. It is the second one in that appears to supply power to the voltage regulator. Do all of the resistors have the same color coding in this bank? I cant get a good color match due to the burns. I also plan to replace the voltage regulator at the same time to see if this helps. Thanks! |

Page 90.4 of the Vanagon Bentley shows the foil with resistors for 80-84 type. Values and functions of the resistors are included.
