| Hey, in the old forums i mentioned about my friends 74 catching on fire. Well the car is sitting on his driveway with no engine and he said that the tranny he has in there is pretty new and said i could have it. The question is, can this tranny be put on my car? I have a 56 and want to know if it will go in and what parts id need to make it got in. Thanks in advance. If this is a dumb question, im sorry, im pretty new at this |

So, do you want to convert your swingaxle pan to IRS so it will accept the IRS tranny and double jointed axles, or do you want to replace the CV axles on the IRS tranny with your swing axles?

If you want to convert the IRS tranny to a swing, you're on your own.

| ohh, Sounds like a pretty big job. ill look into it and see if maybe i can just sell it on here or something. thanks for the info anyways |
