It is difficult when you have the great and unique luck all of a sudden to find such an early rare car. You immediately fall in love with it...it is a very difficult decision for me to take whether I stay with the bus and restore it myself, because I have several old VW´s who constantly need good care and maintaining and last but not least there is already a nice ´53 BD Kombi in my garage.
Thinking of all the obligations I have I might consider to let this bus go, if it would end up in good hands. Wouldn´t be an easy decision though. |

Here are some shots on the underside of the bus: Never repainted or coated! True and honest.
Really quite unmolested and truly solid what is rare for such an old german bus,

yes, that underside looks better than both my 63 and 67 CA buses. Considering the condition of barn doors being resurected these days I'd say you are already about 70% done! :D |

True but there are very few true AZ Buses. I've seen tons of Buses "from AZ" that not originally from AZ. |

I have finally decided to let this nice bus go to a good home. This is because I have to face that due to my obligations I will not be able to spend the time this bus deserves.
I will only separate from the bus for an adequate offer based on serious inquiries and into caring hands who keep it to stock. |

Someone's gonna get a gem.
For me, it would be very difficult to get rid of that one, but good luck with the sale. |
