My plastic pressure tank fissured and squirted a tiny stream of coolant onto the exhaust yesterday. My nose caught the sent immediately then my D piller turned into a chimney stack of white plolumb of unhappiness . I’ve have blown/leakey plastic tanks for to long. Like 3 in 3 years and they happen at the most inconvenient times. So I pulled the trigger on the expensive GoWesty metal version today (all metal replacements are expensive). Any advise from people that have done the same with respect to a different bleed process? I ask because with a normal (not “Blau”) Stant pressure cap, I have more tools available to do magic.

TIA,

BK

They should bleed the same. Just block the throttle open to hold the engine at 2000+ rpm (you should see the coolant draw down in the tank as you rev the engine) and with the bleed screw on the radiator cracked open keep adding coolant until it will not take any more.
