curious what's going on in this pic.
beetle has NY tags and there's alot of people 'working' the ice. doesn't look like fishing.. Clams maybe?

| Looks to me like clamming at low tide, not ice. |

| Every 3rd Sunday in July, local skiers from Banff and Jasper get together at Parkers Ridge in the Columbia Icefields region near the border of Banff and Jasper National Parks, for a fun, informal ski race. This pic, I think, might be from the early/mid sixties. Originally called the Sunwapta Cup, but now known as the Totem Cup or Slush Cup. |
