Hey Gang,
Just trying to find the right torque specs for the alloys vs. steel rims. Bentley states 130 ft. lbs. for torque. Is it the same torque for the alloys?

My friend is letting me borrow his alloys with the new to me tires on them for a spell.

Did a search, but no dice. Loogy knows!

Depending on where you look it seems to vary from 120 to 130 ft*lbs. I have been doing mine at 123 ft*lbs since new. Don't remember where I saw that spec. Most tire guys will only tighten them to 90 ft*lbs unless you get on them.

Same torque for alloy or steel, 123 ft lbs, factory spec.

Thanks guys,
Since I'm borrowing them, just wanted to be uber careful.

It's been a long time since I've been here in Samba Land. I hope all are doing well.

Thanks Loogy and Wildthings, been a long time. Happy Spring.
