| I should have thought about this before paint but better late then never. should my oval have the metal grabbers for the headliner. I watched one of Chris Vallone's videos on headliner install and the one he was doing had them in it. Mine our all smoothed and no sign of the metal grabbers for the headliner. Maybe I have a euro model?, they headliner that was in there was a velour one piece that just covered the roof section, since it was converted to a 80's bug, one piece windows etc. Thanks in advance |

| Post pics...you may have a "Standard" Beetle so only the center section would receive material, the rest would be painted |

| Yes, a few photos would help confirm what you have. As txoval stated, you may have a Standard, or possibly a Canadian Custom. Both are unique! If you have hydraulic brakes it may be a Canadian car, cable brakes are fitted to European Standards. Beautiful!
From what I can see of the B pillars, you have a Canadian Custom or a Standard. The Birth Certificate would tell definitively. |
