...besides Noganav? I'm willing to do it based solely on his recommendation but just wondering if anyone else has tried it.
Looking at applying B-quiet to the headliner area under of a westy specifically. Thanks!

I was wondering if this would make any difference.
It you do it, make sure you post your results (or perceived results).
If I were you I would put a layer of that bubble wrap stuff up there to, to add to the insulation.

I have sprayed Lizard Skin thermal and sound barriers on the ceiling of two 7 passenger Syncros that I have restored and installed custom interiors.
I am now using Noxudol products under the van and throughout the interiors. Thermal, sound bariiers, cavity wax and rustproofing.

The most noticable difference in the interior is the soundproofing and the thermal barrier in the sun. One of the vans was resprayed black. This van was very cool in the sun and had the best AC of any Vanagon I have driven.

The sprayed products have the best estetic apprearance in my opinion.
I have also used truckbed liner directly of these products, very impressive.
The look is not for all and very rugged with the available textures added and a proper gun at low pressure to apply.

I highly recommend using spray over peel and stick products, but anything will help and your labor is be worth the effort.

I also would NOT recommend using products with asphault in them in the interior of the van.

I took down my panel in the westy and applied Frost King insulation, the 1/4" foil backed foam stuff. I retained the regular glass stuff as well. I suppose it made some difference. Was it worth the labor, I don't think so. I happened to have the panel off to put in some wires, so I did it. I just wouldn't go out of my way to do it. I do think there is a lot of noise from there, but it didn't make the van sound like the interior of a Rolls. Still has that ambient westy rumble.

Yep, I used b-quiet and a couple of layers of RV insulation under the westy wood head liner, and I added a center dome light while I had it all apart.
It makes a differance.

You'll notice the difference it makes when you complete the doors. When you shut them it doesn't sound like a hunk of metal slamming, sounds like a modern car door.

I used a layer of peel-n-seal and stuffed as much bubble wrap insulation I could fit into every crevice of the interior, it's made a noticeable difference in sound dampening as well as insulation from the elements.

Used a bit of Raamat up there, didn't notice much if any difference. Better used in doors.
