next is probably a body lift
Just enough room in the back
need a little fine tuning in the front to clear body
i think 7-8mm spacers will take care of that
took some pictures of subframe for dropping purposes
but Body lift will be cheaper and less work |

nice... how you get the rear spring plate to go up?
i have a problem doing that even on my baja...
i was thinking putting some 1x1 arms or 2x2's ... you do that and you wont need a body lift.. |

You're gonna add spacers to adapters...?
Also, I don't recommend driving that - hit a bump and your rear fenders and tires are gonna become very close friends as they hug each other real tight. |

installed rear bumper and tow hitch
changed mounting of reverse lights--due to hitch
(prob change to the inner side of the Overiders vertically)
I just installed lift plates
and air shocks in the rear
swapped lower sleeves and trimmed top ones
YES they DO and CAN Lift the rear of a type 3
??splines in front (almost 5 o'clock)
Probably air shocks in the front soon also
NEED about 1" higher for Full turn
tomorrow i should have the spacers
Im going with 6mm spacers Because i WONT have to get longer studs
Im NOT going to hotrod it
when i am decide to
im going for 5x130 redrilled brakes
and 1 1/2" porsche spacers
hopefully in a little while ill switch to type 4 or 930 CVs
and thing flanges
will have pics up tomorrow
I can get under it without a jack!! :D :D :D |

now i need to get my fasty back on the road...
but to be honest you look like the black guys who raise up a old cop car to throw huge rims on it...
those rims just dont work...
you need some low profile mudding tires..
im planing on a pair of these... one set of 14's for the thing and a set of 15's for the fasty...
jc whintey has them for 100 bucks.. |

It's bad enough to drive in the wind at the stock height.. I wouldn't want to drive on the highway any higher that stock that's for sure.. and the wheels + tires look too big.. IMO.. Have fun. |
