Yesterday was a good day. I received my 54 panel. Just wanted to know if anyone knew of this bus when it was in Wisconsin. Was really surprised that it wasn't in worse shape coming out of the midwest. Pretty much complete for a panel. og engine and all matching rims etc.. I don't know if this is in the barndoor registry. here's some pictures and there's more in the gallery. This one is going in the garage right next to the 53 deluxe.

| Nice. What part of Wisconsin? I had a lead on a Barndoor in Cable, WI. area, but turned out to be a late '55. |

| The bus came out of a warehouse in Racine Wisconsin. Anyone know anything about the bus? Uzi the trailbash date would mean all hands on deck to get it ready. Oh by the way you get to man the wheel. |

I have some pics of this bus I can send you, but they are recent. I happened to drive past it at the PO's place (that you bought it from), I am really excited for you, this bus had me standing at attention for sure.
It is so complete... crank handle and everything, really nice. Also, the dove blue is peeking through in some spots it would be interesting to see these flower shop logos exposed.

spent a little time today cleaning and compounding the front dash and the cab. Was surprised how nice the og paint came out. Also was able to read the numbers on the top of the driver and passenger door (987).

Today I was able to get the 53 and 54 side by side for the first time. The 53 is from Manitoba Canada and the 54 is from Wisconsin. |

Are you going to the E-town show. I am only 1/2 hour away. Maybe you can stop by and take care of a couple of broken noses. |
