Has anybody ever seen a distributor cam wiper? I wonder if a retrofit kit exists.
I had an old Cadillac many years ago and whenever it was time to change the points, the distributor grease would go on the wiper. The wiper kept a film of grease on the cam and the rubbing block would have almost no wear on it, even after 5000 miles!
Maybe somebody might have seen a retro kit or even come up with something like it to put in our Bug dizzy's. |

| On ours, you put the grease in front of the rubbing block, so as it wears, it lubes. |

| A cam wiper is a good idea. Contact Glenn if you need one for your Bosch distributor. |

| I have seen some on VW core distributors. They were aftermarket points by Echlin I believe. |
