Great work, congrats! What is that master cyl reservoir off of?

Checked the main bore, cut for cam bearings, walnut blasted inside and out, and pulled the oil galley plugs for a thorough cleaning.

Hey my Type 3 buddy.. That attention to detail is exceptional.. cool one..

Thanks! I'm looking forward to having it done. It's taken far too long to get this far.

Received the e-brake handle the other day. I'm very pleased with the quality. Just waiting for the bracket to be finished so I can get it mounted.

I've wanted one of those for a while! Never seen one in a bug though, just Porsche! So needless to say I can't wait to see your pics!

Me too. I've designed a cool bracket that goes over the stock e-brake tangs on the tunnel and utilizes the original holes to secure it. Pretty slick if it works, huge waste of time, money, and effort if it doesn't.

So if you can make it work, I'd love to know!

I'm sure we can work something out. I'll keep you posted.

Holy crap! That paint under the dash is just flat out amazing! The clear did you use? My god.. haha

It looks amazing. This is my favorite build for sure!

I want to do the same thing to the pedals. I just haven't seen a close up of one before. I saw yours.. any chance you can tell me what you did? And pictures?

You bet, your bug will be one of the lookers around, just like your Type 3.

This is the resto thread of my 1965 Okrasa de facto.
