getting ready to install the pans, should i drill holes and plug weld them or should i weld them solid. when i go to paint i've decided to either use bed liner or por15. whats your opinion on each of them. |

I would weld them solid then use kbs-coatings Frame coat kit. You will need 2 of them to do the top and bottom of the chassis or one kit just for the pans top and bottom .
Also don't forget your weld seam sealer. I am a novice about this stuff but i hoped i help alittle.

Get a "Roper Whitney" hole punch to make your holes. You can snap a 5/16 hole thru your pan in seconds and it will lay perfectly flat. You get no burrs from drilling. Warpage will be kept to a minimum doing it with the punch and plug welding. |
