Brad is in the hospital again, he was admitted Sunday evening. Family has flown in to be by his side and they are encouraging his friends to come see him. He is at City of Hope in Duarte on the fourth floor of ICU.
Here is the last update about his conditon from Henry:

Okie dokie, here is the skinny of it. He is off the vent and off dialysis. His liver is jacked and sounds like his remaining kidney is fubar and was working only because of the dialysis. He is resting now and told Pinto and a few others to break him out of here. Talked with his mom today to try to feel out when/if he can go home. They are trying to keep him stable and comfortable right now. He is a DNR (do not resuscitate) so minus pain meds and measures of comfort if a body system fails that would be it. His mom said that it can take up to 48 hours to set up hospice but sounds like the process has already started. No, it doesn't look good. Yes, we are hanging on hope and praying for a miracle. The doctors are saying weeks but realistically we are looking at days if the body decides to shut down. His mind and spirit are strong and efforts are being made to get him home. He knows lots of friends and family are pulling for him. Sorry if this seems harsh but I am not sugar coating reality. Pinto and I will be here late tonight and back early tomorrow and both are off till friday. Keep on praying.

Let's respect Brad's privacy and look here for updates.

Please say a prayer for our friend.

It's been a long fight Brad and I know you are tired. I'm sorry for the hand you were dealt, for the pain you've had to endure, and for the sorrow your family and friends are dealing with right now.

DubStyle Wed Dec 16, 2009 12:33 am

It saddens me to see a great guy like Brad get dealt such a shitty hand. With a heavy heart I type and pray for a guy who definitely is stronger than most and definitely doesn't deserve to endure what he has for so long. My prayers go out to you and your family brother!

Damn. Sorry to hear of this- this really sucks. Godspeed, Brad. Let the Lord do His thing, whatever that may be. Have faith.

My thoughts are with you Brad.

MrBreeze Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:52 am

Just heartbroken here. The toughest person I'll probably ever know. I'm proud to have him as my friend.

Pray harder. To God, Buddha, Allah, Tom Selleck, whatever it takes.
