Some interesting details:
-Full-length "wind deflector" along the roof rain channel
-Slight fender lip flares in front
-Stubby front turn signal (stock for Braz. Ghia)
-Rectangular-profile bumper shape (IIRC stock for Braz. Ghia)
-Unsupported outer end of sun visor, such as thru '64 German Ghia
-all black rim; looks like wide-5 pattern
-Left rear corner of first-gen VW Dasher/Passat at far right

They're actually "rain deflectors" not wind, they're a common after-market feature on Brazilian VWs, you see a variation on Brazilian buses too. In a tropical climates like most of Brazil, when it rains it's usually torrential. BTW snow in Curitiba! That's a rare occurrence. |

I imagine if a pedestrian John Moxon is ever the victim of a hit-and-run driver driving a vintage Karmann Ghia, he'd manage to snap just such an artisticly composed photo of the offending vehicle as he lie helpless on the pavement shouting out "Hey - If you need a faux Alfa Romeo grill to cover up the new dent in the nose of your Ghia, I may have an extra that I could let go for a few quid!". |

Even if it were my last photo I would have made sure I got the whole car in the shot. Disgraceful. |

In the two overhead pics the front seats look massive, almost too big.
What is that building, location? |
