Hi, Udo. I stumbled across the website below while researching a response for another Ghia inquiry. I realize the car below is showing in current time and not vintage photos, but the color combination looks like it could match the one in the vintage photo. The roof paint color separation lines look like they were done accurately. Roof color is L472 beige grey.

Note that the original German website description mentions the year of first registration as 1957. It does not list the month, so that this car could be either a '57 or a '58 model year. Checking the chassis# with theSamba VIN listings, it appears to be a spring/early summer 1957 build which would make the car a '57 MY.

Looks like it is for sale again, or one almost exactly the same. In this description it’s pearl white for the top. This is one of my favorite color combinations for the low light.
