| I have a N.O.S. decklid for my 50 and it has factory holes for euro plates. How does a U.S. plate mount? Do I drill two holes for a standard license plate bracket or is there one that slips under popes nose?Any pictures? |

License plates and their brackets were always mounted directly to the deck lid. This was accomplished with drilled holes. Oval era cars were the first to get a bracket that mounted under the license plate light so no additional holes were needed.
But necessity is the mother of invention. So now these are available-

How about one of these? There must be one "out there" somewhere...Much more elegant in design. Looks like a simple stamping. Mika?
