If I had the right kind of stereo, I'd run the cables up through the dash.
I like this one a lot, but I often keep change, notes to myself, receipts, etc in there. My phone just wouldn't fit or stay put.
For others who may also stuff their ashtray, another spot to throw your phone/iPhone, whatever, is in the little cubby created by the RPM gauge in the dash. Find one of those small 'cell phone sticky pads', cut it to fit, and set it in the cubby. This keeps the phone from sliding around the van on particularly sharp, fast, bumpy maneuvers. |
