Hi chaps,

There was a thread a few months back, with an Australian user intending on reproducing RHD pedal boxes. I'm battling to find it...

I need one. If anyone is now producing these, please be so kind as to let me have their details...

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Nic

Bump...

I'm still on the hunt for a pedal box for my RHD '54, if anyone can assist?

Are they being reproduced?

Thanks.

I'm looking at having one made for mine, as have one to copy from another bus, if I have any luck I'll let you know.

Thanks Nolan.

Fairly easy to make up, especially if you have a metal folder.

This is the old and new attempt so far for my 54.

I can measure it up and post more photos if that helps.

Thanks for the photos, Alex.

Do you perhaps have a shot or two of it trial-fitted to your bus? I have yet to find a decent photo of one fitted to a late, RHD bus.

Would you be interested in making up a second one, for sale?

Did anyone ever manage to take some measurements for these? Or …. more importantly …. can anyone please take some?! I'm in the process of restoring a '54 rhd bus and could do with adding one to the Regna deluxe too. My "old" welder completely missed this detail including the captive nuts on the chassis

My current project has had the front chassis repaired but the "rear" chassis captive nuts are still there, so with some measurements this should be easy enough to replicate.

Another question is ....... are the "top" holes (into the floor) for captive nuts too? Reproduction floors don't have this detail in them. From this photo it looks like there are 4 horizontal fixings into the chassis, and 4 vertical fixings into the floor.

Final question, and it may be a silly one, but I'm guessing the hole in the bottom lines up with a grease nipple or something? Or maybe just a drain hole?

Thank you so much for your help. I have a friend trying to look into this too and any information I can gather will of course be posted here

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find out anything else, busben.

My bus now has a KlassicFab floor in it. It's halfway across the country, so I'm unable to check it at present.

If you find any new info', or are able to reproduce an additional box, please update the thread. We're very close to finalizing and painting my bus now.
