Need anymore evidence to check your fuel lines?

Was bidding on that this morning, got outbid, ended up selling for $2450. Too rich for my blood. Whoever you are buyer #1211 you got a pretty clean van cheap.

That doesn't look too bad at all, from the pics.

from the pic of the engine compartment it looks like theres enough left to diagnose what started the fire.

Forum software won't recognize images without a filetype extension.

But ya, would probably be able to figure out where the fire started.

Doug

No it doesn't, I was going to throw in everything from the engine bay of my 87 parts westy, or a subaru.

Can't imagine paying $2450 for something that has been that badly damaged. Of course it is just going to be flipped and some poor soul will be on here in a month or two trying to figure out why he has so many problems on his new acquisition that he paid $8000 for and was told was a one owner van.

More likely will be paying $65,000 for it from gowesty.

Would you believe that I was bidding on it sight-unseen?

I would do the same if I live close(r) by.

That looks like it'll buff right out!

levi Fri Jul 23, 2010 2:44 pm

The back shot looks just like this sister van in Salt Lake.

At this rate, my van will be the only one left pretty soon.

dobryan Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:23 pm

I'd jump on that in a NY minute. When I was looking for a bus to put a Subaru in this would have been perfect!

FNGRUVN Fri Jul 23, 2010 7:21 pm

I can't believe they didn't just fix it. Nice van.

That van looks quite a bit better actually. Looks like another easy fixer.

purplepeopleeater Fri Jul 23, 2010 9:42 pm

I need to stay away from copart.

no really....I do.

I'd like to have a 90 westy though.

I regularly watch iaai for vans nationwide and it has always amazed me the percentage of them that are burners.

3 out of 4 today.

Hey, the Salt Lake one has the internal latch for the rear hatch. :)

Ya I've watched iaai for awhile, never went ahead and got an account because I could never figure out what the different restrictions on bidding were about.
