			| I'm surprised no one has answered yet - I was going to but thought I'd wait and see what people who had dealt with those aftermarket speedometers had done to comment.
My comment was - the stock speedometer opening is around 110 mm wide and the stock speedometer is about 115mm wide, so neither an 80 or 85mm speedometer head will fit there.

			| It looks like this may fit in the stock speedo hole.

 Has anyone tried it yet?

It may still be pretty new, kind of hard to find.

			| Well, in the image I showed above, you see a raised edge at 110mm, but then it extends further to around 115 stepped, this is how it fits the opening in the dashboard and seats in place being clamped down from behind (or rather, from the FRONT of the vehicle). Just having something 110mm is not just going to slot in place there.
Not that I've seen some bizarre ways to adapt non-VW speedometers to a VW mounting... this is one where a much smaller gauge was made to work in a Super Beetle format.

			| Buy this and call it a day. Direct drop in replacement. I’m going to sell my current Speedhut speedo and buy this one for mine.

			| Very nice but I’d need mine to read higher than 80, but still a great looking unit 😀 | |

			| "Speedo size"????
At this point in my life I would not wear a Speedo--------but IF I did, it would have to be an extra large.

			| He doesn't state his location, but the original poster mentions a RHD car... in some countries, "speedo" is another word for "tachometer" and he may be asking about an accessory tach to fit a different dash hole or panel.
A photo of the dash he is trying to fit would work wonders.
