Fun stuff, NOT a classified ad here.
Found these on the hunt today, note the invoice date, part numbers and price..wrapped in 1966 newspaper.
Some interesting data points:
Can you say "inflation" and "currency devaluation" ?
A documented 1966 dealer price for new (but already "obsolete")semaphores? or just a "lets blow these things out of here" price?

Question. I have never seen a semaphore in person. Is that a wooden casing around the coil? Or is it some kind of cheap cardboard material? |

It's paper wrapped around it, they get withered like that over time. My NOS semaphores look exactly the same way. |

Think I gave around $15 each for NOS semaphores near 30 years ago, from a friend who had bought some leftovers from a dealership. |

That's the equivalent of ~$43.00 each in today's money.
Yes, 1966 prices were great -- if you can go back in time and play with your 2015 salary. Not so great on your 1966 salary. :D |
