| I have a 72 Std, bone stock. My plan is a 1776 mildly worked, but for now I'm dealing with the 1600. My question is this, when I got the car it had the progressive carb kit and a hideaway muffler system, and the car ran like [email protected]#$. As soon as it went back to stock it ran fine. What's the deal. When I build the new motor I want a custom exhaust, but I want it to run. Any suggestions? And finally, has anyone had a good experience buying a motor mail order? |

Progressive carbs are crap!!!
Try putting your header back on and you'll probably like it now that you've gotten rid of the carb.
I don't know who to tell you on a mail order motor I just know I had a bad experience with SIR way back before i started building my own. |
