| When it comes to painting there can be so many colours that fit. So what color should I paint my hard top 1969 beetle. I have heard that some colours such as gold look like, well... S**T. So in conclusion what look good. Currently it is white (recently painted) the problem here is that it is a bull eye for bird crap. Yes indeed it is cooler in the summer, but the cleaning every day gets a little MESSY. So... Any suggestions? |

| i have a 69 too. ih \ave owned it for about 8 years now and i have repainted it twice. the color is cobalt blue and i live in pheonix. to tell you the truth it really isn't too bad,(unless you are at stoplight!) |
