Hey all.... Scored this off Craigslist.. YES.. Craigslist a few days ago... Came from a High School Tech Shop. Person I bought it from said it had been on the wall of the Tech Shop for more than 40 years.. and to his knowledge no one had EVER touched it. Well all the tools that are there are perfect original and untouched... Mint.. there are quite a few that are missing. Im going to have to find out which ones... Here is the board... Minty High School Fresh......

and here are the tools.... along with these I received another 10 or so Hazet tools that DONT go on the board near as I can tell... Dash Escusion tool and a few others I cant identify.... Rarity? Value?

Any obvious numbers Im missing.

I don't think it's that late... the wheel bearing wrenches are 32 and 27.. I would think that it would be 24 if it was later.. also... the two ring compressors on my board are 75 (25HP) and 77 (36hp-40HP).... no 83mm etc ... I would think if it was later it would certainly have the 1500, 1600 ring compressors. The Catalog Picture above shows that board with both the 24mm wheel bearing set and the 83mm ring compressor, so no doubt that one is later. (at least late 60's)

The person I bought it from said that it was in his shop when he started working and that was the mid-1960's.

Cool score, I think your board is 1963-1965 vintage. The oil service tool with the movable hex allen is the early style.

Let's see the markings and logo's on the wrenches.

I would say that with 75 and 77mm ring compressors that it is early. They would have added an 83 for the 1500 after 62 or so for the type 3 and then later the 1500 bus as they kept the ring compressors pretty current in these sets that vary widely. The plug wrench is early also. The fact that it does include the 24mm oil switch wrench makes me think that its 61 or so as I think the small switch started in 61. It also pre dates the 4 digit numbers as all the tools that can be, are marked with 3 digit part numbers. Also all the tools are "small a" ......Its a 61 or 62 IMO.......its the earliest one I have seen on a board...........and its in the best shape I have ever seen..........unreal. The band clamp pliers were used on the original 1 piece axle boot clamps....

Here are some of the regular wrenches a mix of 3 digit and 4 digit numbers. As you can see NONE of these tools have ever seen any use... the 2572 looks like it was just made.

The three digit tools, like the 603, have always been three digit tools. The 25XX tools used to be three digit without the 2. For example, a 2561 was a 561 at first.

My estimate of 1963 to 1965 could be off by a couple years. I don't see this exact configuration in any of my old catalogs.

The unique thing to this board is the small size tool silhouettes. I have not seen that before.

Hazetguy took his toys and went home crying. He posted some very helpful catalog info above but seems to have removed it and went home. (and added the word weed... so perhaps he is smoking some and calming down). I guess he didnt like his opinion contradicted. Sad as I think the fun is in the mystery of finding out how old this thing is.

Tried to get him to return his post and information... he has me on ignore..... and to that all I can say is.... "waaaaaaaaaaah"...

and I will tell you what... it makes it a lot harder to determine what goes where for me with those small silhouettes..

I measured it and the board is roughly 960mm x 630mm (38" tall and 25" wide)

I know it's not a "Hazet" one, but it is really curious. A cheap copy? Never heard about this manufacturer: CASOY. This tool board was found in Brazil.

Could it be that the Hazet-sticker was removed or missing, so they repainted it and sprayed their own company/garage name on? Because apart from the name it seems quite original...
