| My '71 Super has the very fine VW Sapphire XIV am/fm radio complete with single speaker in-dash. The speaker is blown. I have not been able to find another - NOS, repro, or used. Anyone know if it is a standard 4" or 5"? Can I just go to Radio Shack to find one? |

| I bought a set of 4" speakers from Wal-Mart for my 63 sedan. They fit perfectly, and work way better than stock. Good Luck. |

thanks, just picked up a $14 single speaker from Pep Boys. 40 watts, fits fine. It is a 5".
BTW - removing the dash speaker greatly increases airflow through the car -- good for hot days. |
