Doesn't PPG = Dupont. If so go to the paint section in Technical on this site. |

I thought these might be helpful to others. I also wondered if anyone can say what the difference in the two might be? Is one lead based and the other says non-lead...

Which one?
The one 2nd from the left is the paint for the code listed above.

If you're within range of a Kemperle dealer, the L380 they mixed for me has the paint code 95588. The paint brand on the can is Nason Ful-Cryl II Acrylic Enamel SS. |

I have no idea!! Even the PPG has two codes for same paint.. I guess one has lead, one without. Then there is eggshell or 3 stage. Was the factory paint an eggshell style? |

If you want an exact match take a piece with og paint to your local jobber and have them custom tint for you.
I just had a local PPG store custom tint some dove blue,
When they looked it up by code it was WAY off.
The guy custom tinted it for me and it is almost spot on to my overhead vent plate. |

Problem is I have nothing with paint on it. All soda blasted.
I am leaning towards far left as it seems to be the closest to what I remember seeing on some other buses with OE paints, but it seems a shade darker then it should be. |

PM me your address and I will send you a piece of metal with original paint Turkis from my 62 that will be large enough for you to take to your paint store. It may take me some time because I travel a lot. You can paypal me the postage after I mail it. Around $10 give or take. |

The one 2nd from the left is the paint for the code listed above.
The 2nd from the left looks like my Turquoise Bus.
The first from the left looks like my Como Green interior - it's darker than the outside of the Bus. |

Thanks to 55samba, I now have a panel from his bus, which closely matches the sprayout card on the far left, but still a little different.
I will have the body shop match the color, then happy to post the formula for anyone else looking for the info.

Great.
In the new photo you posted under different lighting(?) the top most swatch looks closest to my original paint Turquoise Bus. |

Yeap...once in a blue moon we see rain in CA and today was that day, so most recent photo was with slightly cloudy sky's while the original set was in bright sunlight. |

Did you ever get the paint mixed? How was the match, and did you get a formula? |
