| Dont have a Bentley yet and Im pulling the trans out, wondering how the shifter disconnects from the side of the transmission. Just want make sure there isnt something Im missing before I go yarding it apart. |

There's 2 bolts, I believe takes a 10mm to loosen from an ear of the transmission.
Then the shift rod just drops away.
I'd suggest you take a pic first so that you don't mistakenly hook it back up on the wrong side of the ear. |

In this pic you take off the shiny bolt and the one right above it.
