Dont have a Bentley yet and Im pulling the trans out, wondering how the shifter disconnects from the side of the transmission. Just want make sure there isnt something Im missing before I go yarding it apart.

There's 2 bolts, I believe takes a 10mm to loosen from an ear of the transmission.
Then the shift rod just drops away.
I'd suggest you take a pic first so that you don't mistakenly hook it back up on the wrong side of the ear.

A kinda crappy pic looking towards the back of the van, showing the rod passing through the bushing.

In this pic you take off the shiny bolt and the one right above it.

Well I guess its way more simple than I was anticipating.

Thanks guys.

Now to find some of those boots.
