| I have a 1969 VW Beetle Type 1, and I'm interested in replacing the rear drivers' side popout window, and I would like to know how to remove the latch from the existing window to put it in a new window without breaking the current window the latch is in. Can you unscrew it? If you have any knowledge about this, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!! |

| look on the inside of the glass, there is a very small "e-clip" retainer that holds the outer chrome "button" to the rest of the inner latch mechanism.... |

keifer, can you also address how to install a new rubber piece that goes against the glass under the metal strip that goes all the way around the pop=out? Thanks
