hope this is an easy one.. here's the problem.. the frame to my driver's seat cracked all the way through (no biggie, I have a welder so I'll fix it right?) well after I pull it out I notice a part of the track is cracked in 2 places on one side and a 2 inch chunk of the track is missing on the other. The next day I call my local bug guru and he has a passenger seat that he says will work so I picked it up this morning and brought it home. The problem is the knob to make the seat fold forward is on the wrong side (it's on the bottom by the middle hump of the pan). I searched on here and looked in my bentley manual but I can't find a description of how to remove it so I can flip it around or use the one from my old seat. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

awesome, thanks! no punch so I sacrificed one of my screwdrivers but I made it happen! haha seat doesn't fold forward anymore but I don't even care because I never have anyone in the back (if necessary they can get in the passenger side). At least now I can get to work without bumming a ride  and it will work until I can afford some fancy seats later. thanks again! |
