This has probably been beaten to death and I have read quit a bit but I'm new and hate following the guidlines so I am going to open a new thread on an old tired topic :D
Anyone know if these will fit on m '88 Vanagon? http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/2170692392.html
Looks like a pretty good deal and the look isn't bad. Is it the case that I simply need to buy them and test fit or is there some hard and fast rule about what works and what does not. I read in on the of the threads that there is worry that some rims (read Jetta) will collaps under the pressure of the Vanagon. Is that a problem with the Audi rims? If I didn buy these and they fit but needed spacers where can I get them? Is it a matter of going to Autozone and buying a set or buying them online somewhere?
Ahhh so many questions and so few answers.
