Chilly-Chilly-BANG! How We Freelanced Through Europe's Coldest Winter in a VW with a Kid
I just read this and thought it might be of interest here. It is the story of a family traveling Europe in a late 50s bus. It is only available as a download, but it's also only $4. (I read it on my phone.)
There are even small sections called "car stuff" which I guess he separated out so people who don't care about VWs could skip over them. I wished they were longer...
