OK
I working on a set of 36hp heads and would appreciate a little input.
I'm thinking about moving the port back about 1/4" to get the manifold over the open part of the "Y" in the head, will this hurt flow? I can leave it where it is but will have a little valve cover clearance problem, which is not a big deal since I'm going to make a set of fabricated valve covers.

the port will basicly look a 1600 exhaust port, I'm making a set of intakes that will mount a set of 34mm Weber ICT's

I'm going to install larger valves in the heads, what would be a good size valves for a with 83mm big bore p&c's? I have a set of 38mm x32mm valves with dual springs I'm thinking about using but I think they might be a little big. what would be a good cam for a motor like this? This motor will see very little street use, its a motor I would like to use for the "36hp Challenge" at Bonneville. Thank you for any help.

Did that a few years back, I think Bville Tom did a pair similar. They run great!

These are the Black line Racing heads.. Now have moved on to dual port.
Im sure yours will improve flow.. Install bigger valves too!
