| The muffler on my 1976 std beetle :bug_blue: is worn out and loud. I want to replace it, but I`m not sure which year to get. I know that from 1975 on the beetle was fuel injected, but mine was converted to a carb (34pict-3). I`ve heard that the fuel injection years had a different muffler(not sure on that) , but mine has two tips just like all the other ones do. The engine is an AJ . Do the mufflers really change for 1975 and up or not. |
