Dan,
this entire thread is just a blast and a testimony to your dedication.
I bet the owner of the"original paint" bus in front of you was afraid your low light would make it feel self conscious :)
i hope you enjoy driving you car as much as i have enjoyed reading the forum posts and looking at the pictures. |

| VERY nice job Dan, simply stunning! Shame I had to miss Kelley Park this year.....I would have liked to see this one in person. |

Here are some pictures of how the gauge is installed. After saying that my gauge looked like all the others in the gallery, I notice that the image I posted is different: My gauge registers 15 pounds on the vacuum side and 7 on the boost. At idle, the needle stays around 12-13 and the most I've ever seen it jump is to ~4.5.
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I'm surely glad to have the car at a stage where it can be driven and enjoyed, but what I could never have foreseen when I started this project is the number of people who would do so much to help! The community here is truly outstanding and the number of great Ghia's we've seen rebuilt, restored, and enjoyed is a testimony to that. |
