I'm passing your great show this year guys, last year I attended your show Friday night and Saturday till about 12 or 1 pm, drove back to Long Island and hopped in my westy and drove another two hours east into the island for Buses by the Big Duck camp out, Saturday night to Sunday morning.
This year I'm pressed for vacation time and I'm limited to just one show or the other. so I'm opting for the one closer home.
I encourage everyone to hope in their cars and drive this way after the show and join us for a night of camping in Long Island LOL

So when an I getting invited for a dinner and drinks at Brigids? I think we can have a little dinner for the civilized folks there.......

Can't wait for the show and praying my car is done for it. If not, I may have to bring something else....

wow, all these locals and here I thought I was all alone up here. Maybe it was because it was winter, but I only found the baywindow camper and a 64ish kombi around the hood. It will be nice to finally meet everyone at dripfest.

No Registration and the Show is FREE to show, spectate, vend, and have fun!
our motto is "Taking the Dues Out of VWs" b/c we're so FREE it's almost Un-American! 8) 8)

All we ask is that folks purchase a Show Shirt that will support the Wounded Warriors Project and some OCOD Swag to help fund the Free-ness of the Club! ;-)

but if you give llovette money he Will gladly give you beer! ;-)

Was all happy that i was going to drive the Mango to Dripfest and then last night i'm talking to a good VW buddy and he says "yeah, we asked my Brother to go but it's his anniversary." So then i start to think, and realize Oh, F@ck! That same day is me and Mrs Obus' anniversary too! So, i won't be at this show afterall. Ughhhhh....

I know a lot of people are going to be camping, but the wife and kid arnt too keen on that. Is there any ok to good motels or hotels in the area?

Agreed. WTF. If she knows how much you love beer, cars & having a good time... She will join you in coming to the OCOD Drip Fest. What could be better than having a great time at VW show with your wife?

Ok, I just want to see a mango bus. Otherwise, tie in a visit to Skippack for a nice stroll & excellent dinner. Very romantic. Maybe even use the middle seat before you get home :-)

and this is how quickly any OCOD thread can venture down some new avenue :lol: :lol: :lol: a few more posts and we'll be including Trannys at Dripfest...and not the kind that attached with 4bolts to an upright motor, the kind that attach to something else that sits upright... 8) 8) 8)
