Found this in a box of parts I picked up...is it a Schwimmwagen Central Lubrication pump? Cover says "Pumpe Und Kraftig Betatisen" (pump quickly?) Willy Vogel Berlin W 35 D.R.P., Dann Stussel Sofort Loslassen, triangular mount, works freely.

It looks like it might be the right one.

Since nobody else replies, I'll use my best german to translate the text:
"Pumpe kurz und kraftig betatigen"
=
"press pump short and firm"
"Dann stussel sofort loslassen"
=
"Then let handle go immediately"
I am not sure about the translation of "stussel", it might not be called a handle, more like a button or something. It's the long thing that can be pressed in. |

The translation for "Stößel" is "tappet" |

This is not the right pump, it is a little different in shape and has a 45 degree exit, that should be vertical. The pump of the Mercedes 170 fits and has the same shape as on the vw166, only on the side it says 'PX' in the casting. The schwimmwagen reads 100003 on the side if I remember correctly, this is the only right type. |
