I have a bus without exhaust manifolds that fit the head. I can't afford to buy the stainless exhaust manifolds I see for sale that integrate the f pipe. Will 914 exhaust manifolds work? I can get a pair for $100. The heads on the bus have round port exhaust. The only reason i'm not sure is it looks like where the exhaust studs go through is slotted, whereas bus exhaust manifolds i've seen
are just a hole.

The Porsche ones I have seen are flowed. Meaning that they taper to allow better flow of the exhaust gas. Make sure that you have the rest of the exhaust system that fits those.

Perfect. So they will fit. Currently I am exhaust free, but i'm related to a pro welder so he can definitely take it from the flange outward. I just want something to be able to try to run the "rebuilt" engine in there.

They will bolt up to the heads fine but Bus exhaust will not fit them, they are shorter so things will land in the wrong place. So if you want to use Bus heat exchangers etc you won't be able to with those manifolds.
