This half-moon shape cast aluminum part was between -51 kombi's front axle and chassis.

| VW came out with caster shims about 1956. were a lot of complaints (on beetles) about blowing around at higher speeds when being passed by trucks and such. they are 1 1/2 degree shims. bus caster is normally at 0 degrees. hope this helps. |
