Yea that because the car I got these engine parts from had the dealer AC installed. It has threads to bolt another pulley to it for the ac compressor belt to run off of. Had to use it. I don't have the original one. |

I said this was the first video of the school year. I forgot I done one a few weeks ago. Keep in mind the paint job is not finished here. We still have a ways to go on this project. |

We hit a snag with some leaky injector last week. They have been sitting up for 32 years so I guess that's why they done this.

glad you sorted the screen rubber out, there's nothing more frustrating than being a little disappointed in an after market part you bought but at least it turned out OK! could have used a little lubricant to make it pop out better too (I would be bricking it using a screwdriver like that!)
I think your doing a great job with the build and it's great for those kids to be learning car stuff on such a cool icon like the Type 3 8)
Mark. |

Yes classes like ours have been shutting down for the last several years. It gives instructors like me a moral boost to hear support from guys like you. Thanks! |

Mark. Yes I breathed a little sigh of relief after this. Thanks for the kind words. |

Yes I drove it before we got the glass, seats, and carpet so it's already starting to add up. The way it sets now with the fresh stock FI engine it feels like it did when when I had the 1641cc with the progressive 2bbl and mild street cam with the full body. |
