Hi,
I have a 1200 bug which has the smaller center headliner but I want to fit the full one this time. Problem is it does not have the clamp strips around the door openings. Phoning around it seems these strips are now discontinued so was wondering if anyone had come up with a solution to this?
Any help would be appreciated.

| Best chance is to find some used from someone who is parting-out a bug. (either from the classifieds or locally), then have the spot welds holding them onto the door opening/body drilled out. |

| cheers yeah may have to pop along to the vw place and beg him to drill off some strips from one of his really rotten ones. Pity they don't make the strips anymore :( |
