Blue Baron the top photo in the snow is awesome. You can see that the car slid over a foot or so after he stopped. Thanks for all of the photos you post I really enjoy them :) .

Nice photo. I hear the theme to Endless Summer in my head when I look at it!

Both are pearl white model year 1961 with sand stone steering wheel.
Wonderful!
The license plates of both show "Berlin", both have been purchased to a close point in time (the numbers are given out continuously)

I hadn't noticed the reg plates, what a coincidence! I was thinking that they were probably washing bird poop off their cars

Painted by Earl Scheib's German brother Erich, with the body-colored blinker gaskets, horn grills, fender beading...

Yes, yes; I know those ADAC Beetles were based on Standards.

I bet that was good pizza! I miss the Mom and Pop pizza places. I hate the chain pizza of today, the box tastes better than the pizza. I had a buddy in high school that worked at a one off Pizza place, man he made a good pizza. We had two or three other places that were Mom and Pop places that were great too, that we hit up. Round Table was the best chain pizza.
