This thread has taken a very strange turn...

Whole new meaning to that "dropping a dime on somebody" expression.

Insyncro, curious if you have perhaps collected dyno charts from your various installations. Such uniform and unbiased info from a single dyno would be quite the reference!

I have charts on most gasser conversons.

Would love to see those.
Are you willing to share openly on the forum or perhaps by PM?

Not for this thread.
Althogh I have plenty of waterboxer sheets too.

They are available in other forums like the subaru conversion yahoo group.

Now you all have me rethinking a Subaru or Zetec/Bostig. The Vanistan may be the better way to go, and cost seems similar to me.

I am so glad I have choices.

Here's the new logo:

There's a run of stickers in the works.

And not a dime in sight.

Looks great Chris :!:

Thanks bud.

The line graphic is a tracing of the skyline looking west from my house, with Cerro Pedernal, a mountain made famous by Georgia O'Keefe. Step out the shop door, look right and this is what you see:

Do let me know when the sticker's available. But I'm keeping my dime in place, regardless.

Looks sweet.

Cool logo. I really like the mountain outline.

Is "Vanistan" a contraction of "Vanagon" and "Artisan"?

I'm not sure if that's accurate, but -stan (think countries) means "People". So, Afghanistan is "Afghan People", Kazakhstan means "Kazakh People", etc.

I like that thinking of Vanistan - Van People. :)

tencentlife Fri Dec 16, 2011 11:24 am

That is a pleasing thought, Marius, but it's not the people, it denotes the place:

Well, there you go. I'm really tempted to add Vanistan to the list of "proposed names" in the wikipedia article. :)

Believe you me, I knew that.
I might do the same with the Catskills as a backdrop with my site and blog logo.
My decal guy from the track is amazing.

Chris-
It looks like someone was painting landscapes in your yard! The painting below hangs in my house. It came from my grandfather, an art historian who lived in Sante Fe for a while. The artist is Helen Blumenschein, daughter of Ernest (contemporary of O'Keefe, one of the so-called "Taos Seven"). This was probably painted in the late 40's or early 50's. Thought you might appreciate the view...
