I believe it's called "hot tank". I saw a hot rod magazine where they dipped the whole body of a car in a tank and it stripped everything off, bondo, rust, paint. This looks to be the answer to all my problems.
Has anyone tried this on a VW? I need to do this on my 67 21 window. Any info on this process is appreciated.

| one of the major problems you will encounter is that it is virtually impossible to remove all of the solvent stuff from the crevices in your bus. So after your drop a ton of $$ for paint and body, the solvents will leak out and eat your paint off from the inside out. Just get out there and sand brother, sand. NAES |
