I built some 1.5" spacers for the front and installed them. Happy with the results as the car sits almost level now, just a touch tail high. I can't believe how much it stiffened up the ride! Not unbearable by any means but definitely not the stock ride.

Just finished a 1.5" lift on my son's Gulf. Maybe a touch too much but no more knocking manhole covers off driving down the street! Won't hurt for plowing snow through the mountain passes either.

Hey Chris , how ya doing?
I went straight to my mechanic and had him Waxoyl it right away.

Rode great on the 800+ mile ride home 90+ on 95 in southern Va.

put up for winter ( salt/chloride here)

Boy wants me to 4motion it, any suggestions on tranny and rear diff parts?
great to deal with you , any leads on a diesel caddy?

I’m doing great, I hope you are too.

Making a golf 4 motion is pretty invasive, the rear floor would have to be cut out & one from a 4- motion or Quattro would have to be welded back in to have all the correct mounting points for the rear suspension. You would need a 4-motion golf, a R32, Audi a-3, or a TT Quattro as a donor.

I occasionally come across Caddies, I currently have a customer that may be parting with his TD swapped caddy, I’ll keep an eye out.
