I recently had a Vintage Speed Dehne digital fuel gauge installed, and it’s quite dim even with the headlights off, to the point you can’t read it in daylight.
When I turn the ignition on it flashes bright very quickly, then dims down a lot. When I turn my headlights on the dimming feature works.
Fuel level is reading fine, and voltage is good.
Does anyone else own this gauge who can confirm if it should be this dim?
It also looks like the mini light bulb isn’t working, so I’m trying to work out how to replace that. I’ve sent an email to Vintage Speed and tried to call but no response.
