Hahahaha, I forgot about this post.
I welded both broken springs. Literally pointless - as I mentioned up above this makes the spring like 2 completely different springs, one above the weld and one below the weld, with 2 totally different spring rates.
Not surprisingly, they're CRAZY uncomfortable. My ass and back were cashed for weeks after our 16 hour round trip to Road America.
I still haven't found a replacement in spite of the "there's too many sites to list!" comment lol. |
