Idea,perhaps previously discussed...
Modify/3D print the rear window plastic vent found on 88+ vans to hold a powered fan. I have an 87 with modified air flow...Whistle-stoppers etc so I have the part to mess with. I may just use some things I have around to hack up a prototype. Getting enough CFM to make it worth while may be a challenge.

Thats a nice idea. But are you thinking of while parked or driving?
If driving.....if you increase the pressure INTO the van, isn't that about the same as adding an exhaust fan to suck the air out? Adding a powerful fan to the inlet might be easier and more effective than trying to package a tiny fan on the outlet.
If parked, then yes a fan at the rear increases crossflow and could have its benefits. |
