I've searced but can't find what I'm searcing for.
How much can you notch a set of forgeed 94's?
I need to cut 3,25mm on the exhaust (0,128")
and 2,75mm on the intake (0,108")
Is it enough material to o cut this? |

I just had mine machined at Jaycee and Jack said that you can go as deep as 0.220" on the Mahle's.
These have all been notched to 0.160" to remove 6cc's from the chamber.

.125 deep should be no problem, long as you don't drill the bottom to balance
the thickness of the crowns is usually .220-.250 |

Ugh, I cringe when I hear of people balancing pistons this way... |

| If you will notice the notches fall very close or within the piston boss area which is much thicker. I have notched 180 without any problem. You should not have a problem with the notches you propose. |

Yup just needed the CC's to make the chamber larger.
